• The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
  The Environmental Protection Agency’s global warming site explains the issues surrounding global warming, and gives advice on what individuals can do to make a difference.
• Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations
  Check out the FAO report, Livestock’s Long Shadow –Environmental Issues and Options, the gist of which is that industrial agriculture creates more greenhouse gas emissions than any other human activity (even transportation) in addition to being a "major source of land and water degradation."
• The Woods Hole Ocean and Climate Change Institute
  This website lays out the scientific evidence for global warming, with various articles and current news relating to climate change.

Renewable Energy

• The Network for New Energy Choices (NNEC)
  The NNEC works with a growing coalition of nonprofit groups, municipal officials, business leaders and academics to promote community-based clean energy, while helping to dispel misinformation about renewable energy in the media and advocating for policy reforms that will usher in new energy choices for all Americans.

  NREL is the United State's primary laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research.
