The Eat
Well Guide is our free, online directory of sustainable
meat, poultry, dairy, and eggs from farms, stores, restaurants,
and other outlets in the U.S. and Canada. In order to keep the
Guide up to date and to get word out about it to as many people
as possible, we need your help.

The most effective form of advertising is word of mouth, so
please tell all your friends about the Eat Well Guide. Visit
our Tell
a Friend page to send a message to everyone in your address
book.
There are many ways you can help promote us, including:
-
Put the Eat Well Guide search box right on your website! Instead of just having a link to the Eat Well Guide, why not have a fully functioning search box? Visitors to your website can enter their zip code and source preferences and then click through directly to personalized results for local restaurants, farmers and shops in the Eat Well Guide. Simply download these .zip files and add the code to your website to connect your visitors directly to this great resource. Contact
us if you have any questions!
- Link to us from your blog or web site.
Visit our Links page to
find some Eat Well Guide logos that you can put on your site.
- Put out Eat Well Guide postcards at your
local coffee shop.
- Take postcards to the establishments
in your area that are already in the Guide. Ask them to put
the cards out in their stores. Remind the store that they’re
in the guide and see if they might want other materials from
us. Visit our Materials page to see
what handouts are available. Email info@eatwellguide.org for postcards and materials.
- Email your friends and tell them about the Guide.
One of the best ways to help the Guide is to help
us keep it current and updated. If you see that something
has changed, or if you know of an outlet that should be added,
please let us know!
The
Parlour, our online forum, has its own section for The Eat
Well Guide. Visit it often and meet other passionate food people.
Discuss what you like and don’t like about the directory,
and give us ideas on how to promote and improve it.
Are you part of a local, sustainable food or agriculture organization?
If so, send us information on your group and we’ll see
if there are opportunities for us to partner on projects. Or
perhaps your group could become a
partner in the Eat Well Guide.
Visit our Opportunities page to find out how you can volunteer and intern for the Eat Well Guide. Internships can be from home or in our office – contact us for more
information.
