NYC Gaia Girls Book Event

What would you do if you could hear the Earth itself asking for help?

Four "chosen" girls hear the call and answer in this award-winning literary series. One of them is 10 year-old Elizabeth, from upstate New York, who uses her Gaia powers to fight factory farming and save her family's organic farm. The series is on our list of recommended reading.

This Saturday, Lee Wells, author of the Gaia Girls series, will be in New York City for a booksigning. The event takes place May 19th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, at ABC Carpet & Home at Broadway and E. 19th St. Call 212-473-3000, ext. 335, for details.
