GMO ban rejected in Sonoma County

Three counties in California have already passed laws against genetically modified crops being grown within their borders. Sonomans decided 55-44 not to ban the agricultural experiment known as GMO crops. Hailed by the biotech industry as cutting edge technology and admonished by sustainable groups for their proven risks, GMO crops are, in theory, a way to squeeze more production and profits out of land and animals in agricultural production.
