Couric’s recent series on the use of antibiotics in industrial livestock production – which she refers to several times as factory farming – made a splash in the food issue blogosphere, but what folks might not know is that she’s embarked on a new web-based show, called @KatieCouric, which covers a wide range of topics but focused this week with a great interview with David Kessler, former head of the FDA, and renowned writer and activist Eric Schlosser. We’ve embedded a few clips of the interview in our left hand sidebar. Check them out, keep an eye on Katie and if you’re as excited about this as we are, let her know via Twitter that you’re digging her edible journalism.
