What about focusing on pasture finished beef, and local food?

It is not enough to not eat meat once a week. Even if the entire country only ate industrial meat 6 days a week, there would still be a massive carbon footprint left by the animals that they raise.

The solution is PARTLY eating less meat. But it must also be emphasized that eating the right kinds of meat—that has been raised in an ethical, natural way is essential to combating our problems.
