healthy-mondayToday’s Tip: Learn about the vital role of cholesterol and fats in heart disease. Get educated and keep your heart healthy!

Right in line with our friends over at Healthy Monday and their new “Go Red for Women” campaign, Sally Fallon, author (and fats expert!), will be talking about heart disease and the benefits of traditional foods on Friday February 20th here in New York City. If you can’t make her lecture, you can always read her book (with some very interesting and not so typical thoughts on the fats that we eat), Nourishing Traditions.

    Details on her workshop here:

-Do saturated fats and high cholesterol really cause heart disease?
-Is a low fat diet the best way to be “heart healthy”?

Come learn about the role of cholesterol in the body, the history of the cholesterol theory of heart disease, and the benefits of traditional foods.

The Oiling of America, Evening Workshop with Sally Fallon - Author of the bestselling, Nourishing Traditions; President, Weston A. Price Foundation

    Topics covered include:

    • Misinformation and deception in heart disease research
