Another great tip from Ideal Bite – this time they have a list of lists. These lists are convenient for your wallet and you will be ready to pull them out in the midst of any shopping blunder to help you make the best eco-choices!

I never remember which fish is OK or what ingredients in toiletries are going to kill me or which plastics aren’t recyclable and leech chemicals into my beverage. And what are those dirty dozen produce items that you should NEVER buy if not organic? When I’m standing in front of an entire produce section at the store, I’m always confused.

Print these lists for plastic, BPA, pesticides and more to help you remember! OR here is another good tip:

“So if you prefer wallets that’ll fit in your pocket, and yours is already busting at the seams with quarters for laundry and receipts (who, me?), you may not have the space to squeeze in today’s handy-dandy guides. If you also have a cell phone that’s with you 24-7 (alas), just take a few minutes to type the lists you need into your cell phone’s “notes” field, and save. Bonus: You’ll look very busy and important at the grocery store and restaurants when you go to check whether you should choose peach cobbler or a banana split.

Good luck inputting the fun words, like polyethylene terephthalate! (You only have to do it once.)”

And someone commented about another good list for sunblock without nanoparticles (not good for you!) here.
