The Meatrix- en Espanol!

This morning we started the process to redo the Spanish dubs for the Meatrix movies. We already had The Meatrix and The Meatrix II: Revolting in Spanish, but we didn’t have The Meatrix II 1/2 completed. We decided to redo all of them at the Outloud Audio studio in Midtown Manhattan- for consistency and clarity and to hopefully reach a whole new audience!

Mark Kondracki, principal at Outloud Audio, and Johanna Ocampo, our voice-over actor, joined me this morning to get started. What a fun process! The studio is really professional (not that we aren’t!), but it was my first time coordinating such a project, and I was happily surprised. We have worked with Mark before, he actually did the music for us on The Meatrix II: Revolting. If you don’t know the movie, you should check it out, the music is actually quite dramatic and enhances the Meatrix experience (very Matrix-y).

We already have the Meatrix movies translated into over 30 languages and available to view online. We are planning to create an international DVD, including many languages, but for now, we are starting with Spanish DVD. It will include all 3 movies dubbed in Spanish and also subtitled. I hope to have it complete in the next few weeks.

We will be going back into the studio soon to record Moopheus and finalize our project. If you are interested in the new Spanish DVD for educational purposes or to share with family and friends, drop us a line- we are excited to share!
