The Weekly Pick–King Corn

This is actually the second time that King Corn has made its way into our weekly pick–the first was back in March, after Diane and Megan met the filmmakers at its premiere at South by Southwest Film Festival. Since then, it’s been shown in a ton of other festivals, but this week, we’re profiling the film to give you a heads up about its national debut here in NYC next month. You know, if it can make it here, it’ll make it anywhere…

King Corn makes its Big Apple debut October 12 at Cinema Village. After that, it’s off to Washington DC’s E Street Cinema and Boston’s Coolidge Corner Theater, both on October 19th. Then it’s off to LA, San Fransisco, Berkeley…who knows?
