And the Award Goes to…

As 2006 came to a close, Sustainable Table celebrated big wins for its website and for The Meatrix II: Revolting, which is turning out to be every bit as successful as its predecessor.

Sustainable Table received its first award from Interactive Media Awards, Inc. for Outstanding Achievement in the Nonprofit Category.

The Meatrix II took home the Gold Award in the Activism category from the International Academy of the Visual Arts, (a jury of our peers–sort of) as well as “runner-up” in the Flash department from Bitfilm. The moovie also made it to the final round of the Haydenfilms Online Film Festival, which will announce its winners at an award ceremony in New York later this week.
