    On a visit to a New Zealand, 79 year old cattle farmer Lawrason Sayre discovered a style of ranching that required much less work, with more economic benefits. When he returned to his farm in Maryland, he decided to make the switch from corn to grass-fed beef. 20 years later, he enjoys higher profits, less work, and something he never planned on – the 2006 Award for Conservationist of the Year from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
