Summer Grilling is Upon Us!

With Memorial Day weekend only a few days away, summer grilling is not far behind. In order to celebrate the summer and all that goes with outdoor grilling, Sustainable Table has published its latest feature article “Summer Sizzle“.Read it to find out a history of barbecue and interesting tips about charcoal (did you know that Thomas Edison and Henry Ford were responsible for the charcoal briquette?)
We’ve also included summer grilling safety tips – did you know you should never turn your meat with a fork? The fork can contaminate the inside of the meat with bacteria, and it can release the juices from the meat, making your dinner dry out faster.
We also have grilling recipes and information on grassfed meat – why it’s good for you, how to cook it, and where to find it. (Hint – the Eat Well Guide will help you find it quickly!)
