    If the non-profit San Diego Urban Farms has its way, San Diego will be the country’s first “edible city.” The San Diego Union-Tribune today reported efforts by Community Forest Advisory Board chairwoman Nancy Hughes to set aside tracts of city land for organic farming, and to create a regional policy that emphasizes locally produced food.
