While many eagerly awaited last night’s opening of the final episode of Star Wars, press across the country has been exclaiming over its fun and hilarious spoof– Store Wars. By extension, the Meatrix, fresh from its recent Webby award win, has also been showing up in numerous publications across the country. USA Today was slightly off in their interpretation of the message of the Meatrix, describing it as an award-winning “anti-meat, pro-vegetarian” film, but the Fort Worth Star-Telegram described the film as “2003’s much-lauded online expose of the ‘factory farming maching,’” and The Daytona Beach News-Journal also had a short blurb praising the Meatrix as a “smash hit.”

A design website, Dexigner, also took note of the Meatrix, and posted a brief announcement about Moopheus and gang’s recent Webby award win.

We are also happy to see all the positive press being lavished upon White Dog Cafe owner Judy Wicks. Apparently, O, the Oprah Magazine is even featuring her this month. Online they’ve posted Wicks’ recipe for Sweet Potato and Lemongrass Soup.
