Eat Well Guide
March 23rd, 2005 No CommentsOne of the projects I work on is called the Eat Well Guide. It’s an online directory of sustainably raised meat, poultry, dairy and eggs from farms, stores and restaurants in the US and Canada.

All you have to do is go to www.eatwellguide.org and put in your zip code, or you can go to an advanced search page for more options. We’ve gotten great feedback on it and are always looking for ways to improve.
The guide launched in 2003, was redesigned and relaunched in 2004, and we’re currently busy adding in restaurants that serve sustainable meat.
We just ran our stats and found out that the most searched zip code is 90210 (Beverly Hills). I found that so funny that I had our press department do a press release on it -
The Eat Well Guide Walks Hollywood’s Red Carpet
Don’t know if press will find it interesting, but I think it’s pretty funny.
When we do the Meatrix sequels, we’re planning to continue to tie in the Eat Well Guide in the action section – I believe you have to offer people solutions to problems, not just say there are problems. And I think this is a good solution to the problems with factory farmed meat.
Don’t know what factory farmed meat or factory farms are? You can find out by reading “Is Your Meat Fit to Eat?”
So what was my point about the Eat Well Guide? Oh, I just wanted people to know that we just put out a press release on the 90210 connection. Maybe someone else will also find it interesting…
