I’m now officially back at work. Yesterday didn’t count because I spent the entire day reading emails and looking at the mountains and mountains of papers on my desk.

But now it’s time to get back to work and back to my quest to bring a little fun and entertainment to the nonprofit world (while continuing to educate the public). Is that possible?

I don’t think I can answer that in one post – but I think it will become evident over the coming months as we put together The Meatrix sequels and all the plans we’re formulating for them.

We were originally hoping for end of May but now think that’s unrealistic, so we’re looking at beginning of July. I won’t know a definite release date until we have the script finalized. We’ve started but have a ways to go. (And I can’t tell you what we’re talking about because I can’t give away the ending! – all I will say is that this one will have a cliffhanger.)

If anyone reading this has any ideas on what they’d like to see the next movie be about, please send in comments and suggestions!03-17-lilacs.jpg

I went and saw Aqualung last night at the Bowery Ballroom – the band we saw perform at SXSW. Seems a lot of bands came up to NYC from Austin. They were really good – worth checking out if you’re in the mood for more dramatic, quieter music. (There’s only 2 of them – keyboards and guitar.)

Guess that’s it for now – I’m hiring a marketing assistant and have about 500 resumes to read through, along with the mountain of papers on my desk that only seem to be getting higher and higher.

Just so you’re not left with empty text on the page, I’ve added in a photo of (we think) a lilac tree in Austin. (Can lilacs grow on trees?…)
