What exactly is a factory farm? And how does this affect me?

Factory Farms – friend or foe? (Foe, if you don’t know…)
What is sustainability?
Sustainability is more a philosophy or way of life than a set of rule or standards. Sustainable living involves putting back what you take out; having respect for oneself, the environment, and others; and living in a way that does not harm oneself or others.
Environmental sustainability is meeting the needs of the present without [...]
Sustainable food
We started this blog when we did because we wanted to chronicle our time in Texas with Moopheus and The Meatrix, which was quite entertaining and fun. But now that we’re all back in the office and back to the regular routine, where will we go with this?
Happy Easter!
No work today – so thought I’d leave you with a shot of Walter Hatz’s famous homemade turkey noodle soup. Happy eating!
Turkey Going Organic! (the country, that is…)

SXSW News and Reviews
I got a call from a friend today who was in Austin for the music festival. He turned on News 8 Austin on Saturday night and saw a piece on the news about Moopheus and how he was all over Austin. They apparently took photos from the blog and showed them on tv.
We’re [...]
SXSW, Fri night and Sat, March 18 & 19
Friday night is a blur. After the showcase, we had to return equipment, find something to eat, and, yes, go cowboy boot shopping. Oh, yeah, these are my new boots!
We also went to the closing night film party.
Met more people, including a very drunk Irishman. He told us he was a drummer in [...]
